Refund policy

 

Eligibility for return and exchanges:

Everything we do is made to order. We only accept exchanges, NO RETURNS. Please contact us so we can approve of your request before proceeding with the process. 

Send us an email to wearedcd@gmail.com with your invoice number and tell us why you need to exchange the item.

-Items purchased are eligible for exchange if claimed/returned within 7 days of delivery date. Exchanges are only available for costumes of the same color and style in ONE size bigger or smaller. 

-Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, and with all original tags attached. Items received in poor condition are subject to refusal. 

-Undergarments must be worn when trying on DCD merchandise. Due to health regulations, styles that are soiled, worn, damaged, or laundered will not be accepted. It is at DCD discretion to determine if the returned product has been soiled. If it is determined to be soiled, orders will not be accepted for an exchange. 

 -Shipping and handling costs will not be refunded for any order.

-DCD reserves the right to reject returns sent or communicated beyond the return period limit, or items which are not in the same condition in which they were received.

  • Exchange - New size/ Alterations
    Exchange for the exact same item in ONE size bigger or smaller. As soon as your return item(s) is scanned in and in-transit back to us, your exchange will be put in production with a 2 week turnaround time.
    • Customers are responsible for the shipping charges of the exchanged product. Client may send their own prepaid shipping with exchange. If not shipping cost needs to be paid before shipping of the exchanged item
  • How long does an exchange take?                
    Once your item has been delivered to our facility, your exchange may take around 2 weeks of production of your new item, although often processed more quickly. You will be notified via email once your exchange has been received and processed.
    • Can I return items that were purchased on sale?                                                          
      Items purchased on sale are not eligible for exchanges
    • I received a damaged item, what should I do?                                                                
      Claims for damaged or faulty items must be reported within 15 days of receiving your items to ensure proper credit. Please notify our customer service team by emailing a photo to wearedcd@gmail.com along with the style name. They will respond within 1-2 business days to take care of you! 
    • I was sent the wrong item; how do I get the right one?                                                  
      Please notify our customer service team by emailing wearedcd@gmail.com with a photo of the incorrect item you received. they will respond within 1-2 business days to take care of you!

    Colors:

    Despite every effort to provide accurate images of each product's color, actual colors and design may vary slightly, due to different device screen settings and the lighting in the installation location.

    Dance Culture Designs will not accept responsibility for any color or design differences that are not factory faults. In purchasing from Dance Culture Designs, you agree to accept the small risk that there will be a slight variation between the actual color and design, and the representation on our website.
